The Agriturismo Castello di Spedaletto rise up on the building that many time ago was the so-called “grange” – the ancient medieval castle’s granary. It has been recently restored, respecting Tuscan architectural tradition that stands in harmony between innovation and tradition: stone, brick, wooden beams combined with a characteristic crystal and wrought iron stairway. This venue has got 5 double rooms with bathroom and 2 apartments.
Castello di Spedaletto
The castle appears majestic and full of charm; it was built in the XII century along the route of the ancient Via Francigena that, in the Middle Ages, connected Rome with the northern part of Italy. It was then again fortified in the XIV century and it has hosted travellers, knights, popes and kings. You will live an unforgettable experience in a place where life passed centuries ago, where you will breathe and taste the flavors the earth offers us.

Mulino
At the Castello di Spedaletto farmhouse, the Grappi family has built a small transformation facility that uses a stone mill and a professional mixer to produce pasta, especially traditional local pici.
La Locanda
La Locanda del Mulino is the very short chain restaurant of the Mulino Val d’Orcia. The dishes on our menu are all made with organic flours of ancient stone-ground grains of our production. The main dish? Of course our pici!
